Hi, I will be having radiotherapy in about 3/4 weeks I’ve had a course of Bicalutamide 150mg tablets and I’m having a monthly zoladex injection in my stomach, had my second shot 2 days ago and I feel tired, headaches and hot sweats, any body had issues with this?

Just finishing 18 months of zolodex. Had monthly then 3 monthly injections. Had hot flushes to start but now very rare. Tiredness and fatigue are the worst affects I've had. Some muscle ache but overcame this with gym work to strengthen muscles. But overall bearable.

Hello.

My husband is a couple of years into treatment. He has Zoladex implants every three months ( he started with them monthly)and his hot flushes were constant… although this last month or so, they seem to have lessened a lot… I don’t know if this means his body has finally adapted to them…

His PSA last week was 0.03

Hope all goes well for you.

Had 2 years ADT in total with 37 radiotherapy sessions.Gleason 8.Last injection 4 months ago.Total loss of libido, energy and constant hot flushes. Also realised my concentration wasn’t as good as normal.Weight training hard 5 days a week and cardio 3 times a week works wonders to lessen affects.Still have all side effects but hopefully recovery will come.Just booked a testosterone check to see if I have any😃

I’m looking at 23 sessions, I often wonder why such an odd amount, at the moment the hot flushes, tiredness all happening, suppose we just have to deal with it, better than the alternative
