Looking for any feedback or guidance on using Alprostadil injections for ED. After hifu and radiation, cialis and viagra don't work for me so doc gave me the option of injecting directly into my penis. Any one done that?

Use trimix instead- alprostadil alone is usually painful. With trimix, you can adjust the % alprostadil and the total dose. A compounding pharmacy will make it up to your doctor's prescription.

Don’t know your particular details but I was in pretty sad shape. I finally got my head wrapped around starting a penile rehabilitation program involving a pump and low dose Viagra. As humiliating as it is.... it works. 75%+/- return to pre ADT & EXRT. Just wish the pride didn’t get in the way and started sooner!!!

Hoping to never need injections! Good luck brother!!

Hi

After radical prostatectomy and radiation I tried viagra and al with no results. So after a miserable year, I tried injection. It does work.

As you acquire dexterity the procedure takes only a few minutes. Well excuted it is not painful. All you need is a steady hand .don't drink and drive . Follow the dosage.

I used BiMix because alprostadil in gel form gave strong pain. Bimi. Works for me. Injecting your penis is a mind over matter thing. So is having a three hour erection.

Look at Owen Mumford Autoject Ei injection Device. On Amazon, but about 1/2 Amazon price at other pharmacies online. It will help steady your hand. Has visual indicator also.

So did Trimix...and couldn't stand the ache that came with it...switched to Bimix (last 12 months)...and it worked well at 15-20 units...but last 3 vials...I have had to go to 30, 40 and the last injection of 50 didn't give me the very hard 3.5 hr erections I had previously (3 different vials...none out-of-date (i.e. 28 days old after 1st use) and from different batches) anyone else had this experience? Could it be a problem that the Pharmacy is having? Or more likely building up a resistance to the Bimix?

So...so far I’ve tried Trimix a few times. Started with 10 units and now up to 20. Still weird to stick a needle into my penis and i can’t really get it in all the way...but it is helping me get some decent (not great ) erections. Wondering does this count as penile ‘rehabilitation’ ?
