I'm currently on my second cycle of IVF ICSI. I've been on the medication for 3 days, and have egg collection on 28th July. I am taking Coenzyme Q10, Vitamin D3, And Omega 3.
•What supplements if any do I stop taking?
•And at what point should I stop taking them?
•And when do I restart them again if at all?
Thank you all in advance x

You can stay on coq10 to OTD in case of further rounds. Vitamin D stay on through pregnancy. Omega 3 it depends what type-fish liver oil stop taking after EC due to vitamin A. If you’re on a low vitamin A one like algal oil you can take throughout pregnancy xx
Hi thank you for your reply. Sorry what is OTD? OK great I'll keep taking vitamin D3 then. It's a high strength Vitamin D3 that I am currently taking is that still OK? Or should I find a lower strength/dose to use during pregnancy? Oh ok thank you, I'm not sure what strength of Vitamin A my omega 3 has so I'll stop taking that after egg collection, and will try to find one without vitamin A or with low dose of it so that I can carry on taking it if we are lucky enough for this round of icsi to be successful. Thanks again xx
Sorry, OTD is your official test date. Vitamin D depends on the dose and whether you have had it tested. I take a high dose (5,400IU a day) but that is because on my last test I was borderline low on 3,400IU. If you haven’t already, I really recommend getting it tested as I was surprised how much I seem to need, but then I avoid the sun and wear SPF50 if i’m in it. The upper limit in pregnancy is meant to be 4,000 IU a day but studies don’t see toxic effects until way higher. Still, definitely good to know what your level is now xx
