help please I’m late, confused and not sure what to do.

I’m 16 days late for my period. taken an Pt on 2nd November and was negative. Yesterday was spotting brown spots and today too. I’m getting backache, cramps, bloating, headache, tired and tummy is different (springy and top hard) I’m not sure what to do as I have a few signs of pregnancy but the test is negative. Can it be start of period?

Hi, how regular are you?

I’ve had pregnancy’s before when I’ve never been able to get a positive home pregnancy test. It wasn’t until I went to the doctors and finally got a test done there at 7 weeks pregnant.

I also had a miscarriage where I kept testing and only got a slight faint line. Try using pink tests x

Newmomma12 what are pink tests? I have the blue ones.

It seems the ones that use pink die are better at detecting hcg levels. Plus there’s no confusion of a condensation line on the pink tests (cheap Clear & Simple ones do the job just as well) I also bought some test strips from Amazon. I don’t know where you are in the world but in the uk you can buy the pink dye tests from savers, b and m, Tesco or even a pharmacy.

Hmmmm the mucus in concerning is it thrush like or ovulating type?

Has there been anything recently that had really stressed you out that could have stopped your period? I’ve had instances of stress and my period has stopped which had caused a ‘prolonged period’

I’m regular. Normally a day or 2 late but 19 days and cramping badly. The cervical mucus is like white ish and not signs of period. I’m now starting to worry. I will give it till 15 th and if nothing I will call doctor

ovulation was 24th October as took OPK and it was positive and no signs of bleeding like a normal period only the spots like previously mentioned (pin head size but brown) never has happened like this before and getting cramps. not on anything either to stop periods. Was in tears yesterday as I was cramping so much and my husband asked what’s wrong and I’ve told him.

Have you been poorly or stressed recently? Or taken any medication? Sometimes things can affect your period and upset your cycle. If you're in a lot of pain, maybe it's a good idea to get checked at the doctors. X

only on inhalers for asthma but that doesn’t affect periods for me. October 2-5th had really light period then 7th Spotting on liner and 5p size fleshy piece with brown bits attached In toilet . Took a Pt on 9th as I was advised by an health professional as I felt unwell (sickness, cramping etc…) thought it was a start of pregnancy and lost. Could be wrong so I got hospital to do bloods and was negative too. I have had atopic before and will like this after 6 weeks. Was in so much pain in left side. I started to think of the worst. All been ok

so I saw the doctor and she did Pt and it as negative so she said to take Pt every day to be on safe side and said I’m bloated and could be something more so sending me for scans and it’s too early to tell from the dates she worked out. She examined me and took dip test and all clear, took swabs and sending off. Still no period but getting more and more cramping. She said if the pain gets worse go to hospital so they can do emergency scan and if the pt comes up positive go straight to hospital cuz of pains I’m getting.

Hi, didn't your doctor do a blood pregnancy test and if not - why?! You told him you did urine dip test several times. Blood is more reliable test...
