Potty training help

My little boy is fully trained for wee and poo in potty when he is naked from waist down. He’s never had an accident. This is fine due to recent lockdown restrictions and he just goes without pants. However, If I put trousers on (loose fitting) or underpants he just pees. He doesn’t even seem bother by being wet. Any tips of getting over this hurdle

How old is your child? I honestly think it's a matter of keeping him dressed and starting with frequent reminders, star/reward charts. Let him choose some panties and make a big deal about keeping them clean and dry etc. And then persisting with it. Make sure you don't get upset if accidents happen as that tends to put them off the whole thing.

Thank you. Great idea! Hes currently in self isolation for two weeks so I will persist! He’s 3 next month and he knows what it’s all about. When he’s in a nappy, he drinks that much that they fill up quick so he really needs to be trained. Also I think his other issue is being lazy and also getting distracted

We went with no underwear and just trousers for a couple of weeks. It definitely is just sticking to your guns and accepting a good few days of accidents. From memory by day 3/4 he’d started to get it. Good luck.

Just so much wee everywhere. My son did a poo on the floor whilst I was on a work call during lockdown and the dogs started eating it. It was a true low point 🙈😂
