I had this around 5/6 weeks and lasted around 2 weeks on and off. It was terrifying I got an early scan and everything was fine it was a hematoma which the nurse described it as bruising from implantation. Its probably nothing to worry about but always best to get ot checked. Get an early private scan or nag at your doctor until they give you a scan like I did depending where your from

Update..I just got out from hospital yesterday,I lost it.its 8weeks and 1 day not 7weeks. before they do TVS,I had this brown spotting in 4 days but its just little and said nothing to worries about because its normal, then on a 5thday in the afternoon its started goin red and had some cloths, told my husband take me to ER at 2am because I can't take the pain in my lower abdominal and lower backpain and severe bleeding.while walking at the ER I felt something come out and it huge.when I check in the bathroom i know that's it.so when they do tvs it's empty.i had stay on the hospital for 2 days observation and several ie and tvs to check if all was good..thankfully my body let it out natural and no need to do suction.im still mourning since it my long waited supposedly first baby.

I had this with 2 of my pregnancies and they were fine. It can be totally normal, I know it’s scary though. If it helps when I had a miscarriage the bleeding was totally different, it was a lot more red and looked like fresh / period blood and I had cramps which gradually got worse.

My advice is always if you’re worried and not sure call your midwife. But it does just look like normal spotting. X

I’ve been having the exact same thing for 4 days now and I’m 6 weeks. Consensus seems that it’s most likely nothing but I’m very worried too! Let me know what happens with yours. I have a scan tomorrow I will come and update xx

If I can go back the time..I won't ignore the first day I got spotted I go to e.r and check for safety but we ignore it since many of them telling its Normal in early trimester.but it's really never normal..to those who can read this in the future having the same experience,,PLEASE NEVER IGNORE IT.its better to be cautious than feel regret and sorry later..
