20 weeks scan

Did anyone go for 20 weeks scan recently? I’m so worried about Coronavirus as my hospital one of the most affected in London and about the scan itself. Can anyone share their most recent experience with the scan please? Maybe it’s safer to do a private scan in a smaller office? Have anyone done that before?

I went for a scan last week. All staff wore PPE even the receptionist. There were markings on floor so you couldn’t get near the deck and the chairs in the waiting room were moved to be kept apart. The only close contact was with the sonographer who was in apron, gloves and mask x

I second everything Emmaxxx wrote. My ultrasound clinic also had someone at the very front of the building who asked you questions about any possible symptoms, and did a temperature test before allowing you to enter the reception area. So they really are doing everything they can to keep mothers safe.
