10 weeks - disappearing symptoms

Hello everyone, i'm sure this subject comes up fairly often but is it normal to lose some of your early pregnancy symptoms by week 10? My boobs no longer hurt so much, (thankfully) im not feeling nauseous but still have mild cramping on left side. Some online articles have said to watch out for losing symptoms. Should I be worried?

yes - it is normal. This happened to me when I was around 9wks & I was so worried I called the clinic and they said symptoms will ebb & flow. As you get closer to the 2nd trimester then tend to soften, mine certainly did. Don’t get me wrong some days I won’t have any, then others I’ll have them all x it’s always good to be aware of what various symptoms could mean, and what’s normal for your body.

when I was 10 weeks I remember my line strength being all over the show and I really got myself into a tizz so I booked a private scan for reassurance and sure enough there he was wriggling around.

Try not to worry but be in tune with your body and if you are concerned call your midwife 💞 sending love & congrats x

My symptoms came and went in the first trimester and I know it’s hard not to worry but the best advice I was given was to assume all is well, unless you are in chronic pain and bleeding out. It then became my affirmation in my wobbly moments and helped to get me through. X

Totally depends. First time I was pinning my hopes on the magical 10-12 weeks where morning sickness it meant to let up and you have some relief from a lot of symptoms in the second trimester but my symptoms just got worse. Was sick into third trimester. This time it was much more intense at first and I was beginning to think I couldn't manage the sickness, pain, discomfort... and it all carrying on for months, but one day (11 weeks ish) it all just went, literally overnight. It came and went a bit and different symptoms appeared, but I think the easing is actually more normal than carrying on. You could book a private scan if you're worried though.

you can get a wee private scan for about £50-£60 to put your mind at ease as symptoms are so different for every person and pregnancy so it’s perfectly normal but now something is in your head and you are worried and at your stage private scans can help your worries as the can see a lot 🤗 I wish there was a wee window we could peak in to see what’s going on in there! I had extreme fatigue at 8/9 weeks which disappeared after starting 1000mg x vitamin C 3 times a day. Was happy my energy was back but doubted if the pregnancy was still ongoing. My breast feels less plump than at 8 weeks. So I went to 12 week scan just to confirm the baby is alive... it is!

This is such a tricky situation because for some people this will be totally normal, while for others it’s a sign something isn’t right and sadly there is no way to find out except for your scan. This happened to me and I remember googling the same thing. I then had a missed miscarriage. I had no bleeding or cramps. But I remember when I looked it up, for so many women their babies were fine. So I’m hoping you will be one of those :)

Hey, it's very normal for your symptoms to come and go, especially as your placenta takes over and your hormone calm down. I never had any real systems with any of my pregnancies. I wasn't sick at all or had any sore boobs. I felt a bit like I'd missed out a bit, but then I just felt grateful that I have 2 beautiful children and none of the sickness.

I hope this is the same for you and that you have a happy, healthy pregnancy xx

I really hope everything is ok for you xI'm 12 weeks today (1/4) and in a similar position. In the past few days, my Evening nausea has wore off, boobs are no longer sore and sciatica seems to have disappeared. Its Easter weekend so the community midwives are not around to call for advice/reassurance and I have my scan on Thursday 4th anyway so not sure if it is worth saying anything about or just waiting until Thursday for (hopefully!) confirmation that everything is ok x
