Not much, went to the market, 2 x fruit cakes, 1 with cherries, 1 blackberry & apple pie all of which have been out into the freezer and some home grown rhubarb, otherwise just pottered around doing a lot of nothing π°

Hi Jennymary ,
I have had breakfast first thing this morning, did some replies using my phone and the computer, sang happy birthday on the phone to my Grandmother with my Niece, had a small cup of grape juice and helped my Niece with artwork. I also did some messages on this rainy weather day. Planning what to do for lunch today.
The pies/cakes sound really good. Enjoy!πππ
Birthday wishes to your Grandmother, hope she enjoys her day
Those cakes look delicious!
Been out for a walk this morning, applied for some jobs this afternoon, sorted out some more interviews for the week after next, did some Scottish gaelic and had a lie in and an early shower.
Shopping day for me today
Great buys from the market Jennymary.
In the morning, chores, started clearing some paperwork, listened to music (thereβs been some beautiful music on the radio to mark the death of Prince Philip), then lunch, watched the birds on the feeders, did my online shopping list, played online chess. ππΌπͺΆβ
Hi Jenny. The cakes look delicious as does the fruit pie and rhubarb. I hope you enjoy them.
I went to the supermarket first thing this morning and then to M&S. I am looking into having my groceries delivered but have not got around to it yet. I did a few chores around the house and went for a walk after lunch. Wanted to mow the lawns today but it has been wet so unable to. The weather looks good for Sunday so will do them then.
I am just sitting now with a cup of tea before I prepare my evening meal. I have some bills to pay online this evening and hopefully some relaxation.
I hope you have a good evening ππ·
Hi Jenny
Glad you got to the market, I do enjoy going to markets and can't wait to visit the Keswick Market in the Summer whilst we're on holiday.
I went shopping, out for a powerwalk and then made peanut butter and then some sweet potato brownies.
Hope your evening goes well.

That's a brilliant shopping haul from what's obviously a great market Jennymary. All tucked away for a time when you need a treat! Rhubarb looks really good too. Today's been a bit of an admin day for me with some online bills to pay etc. Truly annoying how it runs away with your time!
I went to Tesco early, not too many folk there; Managed to get what I wanted (fruit and salad veg mainly), Only 2 bags because its a trek back up the hill and my rollator is on it's last legs (squeaks like a tortured mouse!). Got in, took my boots and socks off, and discovered my foot was horribly bruised! Dropped a bottle of vinegar on it the day before and the bruise is really coming out now!
Cheers, Midori.
