Iceland shop arrived, they had everything I'd ordered apart from a tube of hand cream, but got a small tub here so not a problem
Reading group this afternoon which was a bit different, instead of a short story or extract from a book and a poem, today we had 3 poems, we enjoyed 2 of then, couldn't make any sense of the third, but it made a change and we enjoyed discussing them 😊❤️🌈SSAW

Glad you just about got all of your shopping Jenny. Your group sounds like it went well.
I dealt with the washing this morning, did 2 15 minute Joe Wicks workouts and then stretches and weights then made some raw bars.
That's a shame you didn't get to talk to your friend, a 5 hour time difference is a fair bit, maybe try again tomorrow afternoon. Glad it was a good day though👍😊🌹
I did a zoom call this morning to try to keep our shared reading group in touch as our leader has to do some online teaching for a few weeks. I was quite chuffed with myself as I chose a Wordsworthoem about Snowdrops and for the first time managed to share the screen with them.
This afternoon I really deep cleaned the kitchen but am regretting it now as it has started my osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia up so unfortunately it will be an early night for me. X
I am unfamiliar with the first poem and unfortunately couldn't seem to bring it up on thr web. We are always on the lookout for new poems. My husband brought a poetry book for Xmas which consists of a poem for every night of the year and the one I picked was for today. Not that I have any snowdrops out yet.x
Early walk, future learn, washing, made a roast dinner, watched charlie and the chocolate factory and did some Duolingo Scots Gaelic.
The greatest excitement here all day Jennymary was this evening when, unfortunately the block's fire alarm sounded and we all had to traipse out into the wind and rain. Not quite so quick an evacuation these days either. Mask, (check), sanitiser (check). You know the drill. The fire brigade arrived in their usual speedy style and by then there was a strong smell of smoke, which seems to have been coming from the lift shaft. So no lift for the next few days until it's safety checked, and staying home will begin to be a really attractive proposition as it's such a bore to climb all those steps!
