Again not much housework, but stewed the rhubarb which has given enough for 2.servings, one today, one tomorrow, did a pile of shredding, reading group this afternoon so although the sun had been shining I've stayed in again, got an optician's appt Thursday so getting paperwork out ready to take, also got 2 pairs of mum's old glasses, which we think have never been worn so may utilise them if I need new specs, so they're out ready to take

Hi Jenny
Glad you got the rhubarb cooked and have 2 servings. Hope you enjoyed reading group and I'm glad the sun has been out for you. That's very fortuitous that you've got 2 unused pairs of your mum's glasses, I really hope you are able to utilise them.
I've been out on a walk with hubby today around the coast and we had a picnic, sat out in the garden for a bit this afternoon but then the cloud came over.
Hope the rest of the day goes well for you.

Busy day again today on future learn, Scottish gaelic, applied for 5 jobs, had an early walk, listened to music and had a salad for lunch which I enjoyed and got invited to an interview on 21 April at 1pm for a job in Newport.
Congratulations on getting another interview Catgirl.🙂👍
I feel I will go to a place that's right for me and at the right time for me.
Looking back I feel it was a blessing in disguise not getting those jobs I went for last year!
That’s a very positive attitude Catgirl, which I think you always have. You always bounce back. 🙂🌈
What I have found in life is it stings a lot harder to have something and have it taken away from you as if I had got something then and got laid off that would have hurt a lot harder than what has happened with having to wait as I find it hurts less not to have something at all than having it and it being snatched away!
Yes I can understand that, having put a lot of effort into getting an interview and getting the job only to get laid off would be very hard to deal with. Everything will turn out right for you.🙂👍🌈🌺
Went for a long walk this morning. Then came back and rested then assisted with Milo again this afternoon. That took a long while but he did it outside and now he is sleeping quietly on the kitchen floor. I also worked on translating five French sentences quietly as I munched a cold breakfast earlier.
Hi Jenny,
Glad you did the rhubarb and have enough for tomorrow as well.
I hate shredding paperwork and tend to let it build up and then have a purge. It's time to do mine again!
I have been at work today - the nicest day of the year so far but never mind!
I am about to cook some dinner now and then relax this evening - hopefully sitting in the garden with a cup of tea.
I hope you have a good evening 😊
You’ve been busy today Jennymary you sound very organised. I need to get some shredding done too but my shredder has broken so it will have to wait. This morning ...chores, in the garden (lovely sunny day) tidying, pruning, planting bulbs, sorting the shed out. Lunch, then sat in the garden. Just had evening meal, and feeling tired so will probably end up falling asleep this evening in front of the TV!🙂🥱🐞🐜🕷🕸🪴🌞
What have I done today.? Not a lot. Breakfast on my deck, tidying up last nights and this morning dishes. Made a "To Do " list . It's warming up nicely on my mountain so I'm definitely put some trail beneath my boots today. Now then, if my second cuppa would kick in I may unseat my self and get going.... maybe😉😀
What time is it where you are Lazaruslong?
Some washing as usual. Cleaned outdoor table and chairs again, weather had gotten cold when I went to use them though . Nasty midget around today. Walked my dog. Need to achieve more tomorrow
Not a whole lot but did face my terror of the phone long enuf to get one step closer to resolving my issue with HEAP
Well done for facing your fears!
I'm hard of hearing very hard so I prefer face to face so I can read lips. These days masks make life for the hearing impaired very challenging. But I'm always up for a challenge. I made the call, took a call back, & talked about my issue. I got no satisfactory answer but that is all we needed for my social worker to call their supervisor. That should get better results. But the win for today was me picking up that phone!!! Yay me!
I had my 2nd vaccine and now 15 hours later, I just a mildly sore arm. Yay!!
