As said previously I went for my first vaccine this morning, as others have said it was well organised, my appt was at 9.00 we arrived about 8.45, taxi driver said he'd wait then we'd both collect the shopping, I came out about 9.10 we got the shopping and I was home just after 9.30. Still got 3 bags of dry shopping to sort out, there's, always tomorrow, this afternoon just went to my local shops, managed to get a hair band for when I'm back at work as its not being cut until May, and a few other bits, currently fairly tired, and injection site aches Forgot to say.... Didn't get a sticker ☹️🌈❤️😊

Hi Jenny. I was wondering how it went and pleased that you have had it and it went well and you managed to do some shopping too.

I have been cleaning the bathroom today and doing some jobs in the garden as it is very sunny here today. I went for a walk after lunch and am sitting watching my resident blackbird patrolling my hedge right now. He is always here in the morning and evening and sings beautifully but pops back from time to time during the day.

I hope you have a nice relaxing evening.

Glad you've had your jab and I can see that where you were was very well organised as well. Feeling tired is one of the side effects of the jab and I hope it doesn't last too long and that your arm stops aching soon, my arm isn't aching now and I had my jab on Saturday.

I did the housework with hubby this morning, went for a cycle ride and then made a Tagine.

Hope you relax this evening and have a good night.

Alicia 🌈😊xx

That's brilliant Jennymary! Take it easy for a couple of days! I did and I was alright! Just an ache in my upper arm but that subsided after a few days! I went back into my garden from 10 am until now! Just sitting down properly and having a good rest before making tea!Been digging 2 little shrubs out today, that took a bit ! Glad I removed them! And another little shrub I cut completely down! It was too hot last year and it likes shade! Front will need doing, but slowly getting tidier, bit by bit! Thought had a work meeting this afternoon as scheduled, but now it's tomorrow afternoon plus lateral flow test!

I am coping a lot better with my gardening now, last year it was hard! But determined to keep on top of it now! Can't have mess again!😁 Need to rest, tired now! 😊🏵️🌸🌺🥀🥀

I had my jab as well at 11.30 this morning up at pentwyn leisure centre and it was weird seeing it as an injection centre as I used to go swimming there many years ago.

I got the bus up there and had a walk round the park behind the leisure centre and met my sister in law along with our flasks of tea and drank them outside before I went in the centre!

Before I got the early bus I called in for my prescription at the local boots which was fine and I did have an early walk as well this morning to cut down on worrying about things which helped.

Got home at 12.30 and had lunch and this afternoon applied for some jobs and have had lots of cups of tea.

I feel OK in myself just a bit tired.

Glad your first jab has been done Jennymary, I had a restful day after my first one. I did some household chores first thing this morning, then I mowed most of my back lawn, it was a beautiful day here. After lunch I listened to some music and watched the birds in the garden, then I had a lovely relaxing bath to ease my aching muscles.🙂

Well done for getting your vacc. I had a blood test today and it hurt far more than my vacc :(

So glad it all went well Jennymary but I'm not surprised you're a bit tired now as you went on to do shopping and then probably have the aftereffects of the vaccine too. Bit remiss that you didn't get your sticker. I found myself dropping off to sleep this afternoon, after having been woken up far too early by an alarm outside.Luckily dinner was all prepped as hubby is back to his night shifts this evening and I had to have it ready for 4pm. We had a variation of Louisiana Red Beans and Rice and have to say it was pretty tasty. Now relaxing as hubby's left and I'm busy doing some collage and looking forward to tea and telly for the evening!

French and a leisurely walk into town for some new puzzle books.
