Feet done, couple of bits from tesco, market, got another cloth mask, and a fruit cake, could have got another fruit cake but there's no room in the freezer, by the time we have the next one which will be in 2 weeks there should be more room in the freezer, they didn't have any crumbles either. After being unwell earlier this week its left me with backache but I'm hoping that'll sort itself over the next few days

I hope your backache gets better soon Jennymary.
This morning I did my household chores, sorted out some paperwork (which I hate doing), paid a bill (which I also hate doing!), then had some lunch. After lunch I watched the birds on the bird feeder, listened to some music and took delivery of lots of goodies for the birds. In a minute I’m going to unpack the delivery, play some online chess and then have my evening meal. 🙂🌈
Hi Jenny. Glad you are feeling better still and hope that your backache will resolve quickly. The fruit cake sounds good and I hope you enjoy it.
I went to the supermarket early this morning (7:30) and got drenched as it was raining heavily but stopped after about an hour and it has been sunny and dry but rather cold. I went for a walk after lunch and have just returned. Have seen lots of signs of spring so feel uplifted! I may do a couple of jobs in the garden now and then make myself something to eat.
I can't wait for the clocks to go forward on Sunday so that it will be light until around 8:00 pm. It will be darker in the mornings but not for long.

Sounds like you've had a reasonable day and managed to get out. I hope your backache goes soon.
I did some exercise indoors today, went shopping then made some peanut butter, raw bars and brownies. I'm now about to cook dinner.

Thats nice getting a fruit cake to enjoy!
Sorted out a new electricity tariff to end in May 2023, had a walk round the neighbourhood and then to the post box this afternoon, listened to music, did some Scottish gaelic, applied for some jobs, watched the history boys on DVD and waiting now for our takeout from a Lebanese restaurant which we are looking forward to.
Stumbled around, a bit more mobile, last three days like a zombie, fractured rib and my right arm getting back to normality, my old injuries hit both at once, fixing my broken rib and caught nerves in my right shoulder, boing! lost feeling in right arm for about 45 mts, then click or rather CLICK! as it slotted back into shape! Arm and back bl###y sore last couple of days! Feeling better, a bit cold outside, SNOW!🥶 Anything good on TV tonight?😗🥴😆
Sounds like a good day Jennymary, but take care with your back. When backs go wrong, it's really painful! I baked a cake today, a really simple one that contains condensed milk instead of sugar and the ingredients are just all whisked together till fluffy and the result is very similar to pound cake. Just enjoying a slice now, with a cuppa!
