Not much again, tried sorting out fuse box, everything working apart from hot water and heaters, can get hot water through booster switch, storage heaters usually heat up overnight, but mine have 2 switches one of which has a red light which hadn't come on yet, as I've got a housing association flat if they aren't working in the morning I'll ring them, hopefully it'll be easily sorted but I'm wondering as all other electrics are working, have they packed up and took the kettle and everything out yesterday think it'll either be a 2 minute job or new heaters 🌈☹️☹️SSAW

Trying to sort out my heaters for the second time

Nice early walk this morning and called in at the shop on the way back for bread and milk, video call with my sister in law at lunchtime, phone call with another friend earlier who was upset over lockdown but she feels better now after a chat, returning the favour after she was a great friend to me back in 2019 when I was distressed over the toxic job I left in the December that year so it was about time I returned the favour, listened to music and watching cocktail on DVD now.

The element in the cooker went last October time, again took out the heaters, had to pay to get new element as cooker is my responsibility, told the man about the heaters and he flicked a switch on the fuse box, don't know which one though

Dear Jennymary,

Without being, in any way 'funny or twee', that is such a Pretty Name.

Today, partly this morning but mostly this afternoon, one of our Staff assisted me in Cleaning Up my Flat. Yes it DOES 'Need It'.... badly, I'm afraid. Within half an hour- I even got the table Polished!

After this, we both went out, for an hour's walk- just locally, although we did 'cut through' the Wood... so I'll have to clean my shoes. It was Very pleasant indeed. (although, I'm glad that I put a 'Pad' on.... I Needed It, in the cold!) There are Quite a few 'Walks' near me, with Footpaths, linking them- you come to a 'Dead End', with a Footpath continuing on. We quickly came, to the Pub, out on the Main Road- then walked back, along the roads. (quite some way actually)

I hope that you get your Heating, sorted out, which I'm sure won't take long. It sounds like you have a 'Slit Load Box', and there is probably another 'Breaker' somewhere. Please DON'T try to find it yourself, Electrics CAN be Dangerous! Definitely Not worth 'The Risk' Jennymary. Can you let us know though please?

Let us ALL Hope and PRAY, that this Covid Pandemic, ends soon- so we can all Meet again.

Once again, you have a Very Lovely 'name' Jennymary.

Hi Andrew, thank you for your kind words about my name. Pleased you had a nice walk, you're right about the electrics, I'm not sure which one to move, so I'm going to ring them tomorrow, I've managed to get everything else going and I'm concerned that I might make a bad situation worse, yes, I'll let you know what happens

Did a few postings and replies, a little reading, had breakfast and lunch and listened to music. I plan to do more reading and do knitting this afternoon at 2 pm. I also plan to do some texting with a few friends on Facebook Messenger. 😀👍🌈

Sorry to hear that you’re having issues with the heater/hot water.

I really do hope your electrics are sorted Jenny, I see you've had some very helpful replies on your other post. I've also got night storage heating.

I went for a lovely walk this morning and did some baking this afternoon for a friend who's had an operation, I'm going to pass the baking to her at her door.

Here's to your electrics being sorted.

Take care

The usual really. Caught up with the washing and ironing, took the dog for a walk, sorted some clothes for the charity bag. Shouldn't have but did hop on to the laptop for work and spent a couple of hours getting g ready for today. Watched The Wife with Glen Close and then fell asleep!

I started a watercolour painting. I am pleased with this one so far. Oh well, there is still lots of time for me to spoil it.

Hope you manage to get this sorted out today Jenny. We have enough to put up with at the moment without losing our utilities into the bargain!
