All i have is me,myself and I,and we are all getting tired of each other.
Generally speaking I try not to generalise.
As humankind we all need the interaction with others of the same ilk and the past year has created aloneness for so many, and even more so for those living alone.
We cant change things, its been a long waiting game, which hopefully we will emerge from later this year with a more zest for life.
It has been a year of reflection, thinking about what really matters, and what matters not so much.
I think a lot of us have changed enormously, and in most cases for the better, and we can all understand what freedom means and that is something we must never take for granted.

A thoughtful but true analysis of how people alone are feeling. Here in Wales from tomorrow we will be able to travel to any part of Wales and, meet with more friends. I'm looking forward to renewing our walks a bit further afield. Last Summer our walking group enjoyed 5 mile walks followed by lunch and a chat. Such a simple thing to do but so important for our wellbeing.
Oh yes,me too,i miss meeting friends for lunch and a natter, and i have friends in North Wales who are anxious to get out further afield, but i live just across the bridge into England,so thats out at the moment.
Nice part if the world to live in. We are lucky so lucky.
A wise and thoughtful post secrets22! I think that many of us are finally revealing how we really feel about things, and actually that's important. Maybe the time has passed for jollying ourselves along and pretending that life's what we make it. We perhaps now just need the grim determination to exist as we are for a little longer in the hope that, this time, there is a way out of our strait jacket restrictions! Hang in there!
