I've been going through fibroids for 2 years with relentless appointments with the hospital gynaecologist at the maternity ward in Aberdeen.
Because of covid I can't see a radiologist about my Embolization so I have to continue with my injection for further 6 months until I get the Embolization.
I will admit though, it is hard for me to stay positive as my Fibroids are really getting me down plus the fact I've been not well for to long at the age of 36.

I'm sorry to hear what you were going through. I had that to 2 years a go a large fibroid pressing down on my bladder. I like all creatures but I love my dogs. xx
Hi the problem I had was having when I went to toilet it took ages to come out mam said on Holliday don't you take ages to P Im on HRT low dose patches which hormones soposed to encourage fibroids so I'm not sure if any there I do still have slight unusuality on my P but no pain 😊🐆xx
I do take ages to go but that is due to my underactive thyroid, many pills I'm still on from the hospital and of course fibroids. So I have different things on the go at once.
I try to stay positive as I'm hoping when I finally get my embolization the pain in my abdomen will go and that will enable me to gradually come off the medicines from the hospital,
I't must be a horrible journey to go through but try and stay positive and remember you will get there. xx
Hi thanks I'm ok I don't have pain and isn't really a problem I just take a bit longer than some other people that's all I hope you get yours sorted xx

I'm so sorry you've been going through so much for 2 years, I really do hope that you are able to see the Radiologist very soon, hopefully it may not take 6 months.

But meantime do please come and post here when you feel fed up, or when you don't. We'll always give you shoulder to lean on!
