I am very concerned that as I was walking home someone one was smoking in the open air and even though I had a mask I could smell the smoke
I tried to move away but this causes me worry
Does anyone one know if COVID can be transferred like this ?

I've just gooogled transmit covid by cigarette smoke, answer is possibly, try not to worry, I'm sure you'll be fine
I'll also say a few days ago I was in one of my local shops, a couple of people aged early twenties at a guess, came in, no masks, I didn't say anything to them as they may be exempt, did I drop my shopping and walk out...... No, I carried on, got to the checkout, paid and walked out, am I concerned they've transmitted covid to me, of course I am, but I've got the NHS app on my phone, it hasn't beeped to say I've been in contact with someone so I'm not sitting here worrying about it
