It is good news but I am sad to see, as a clinically extreme person, that we will not be anywher near the top of the list but bunched with the Over 65’s. I really hope I have misunderstood thr lunch time news!

in reply toSops

I think you should be at the top of the list

After health workers and care homes, I think vulnerability should be at least considered. I had another Matt letter yesterday and stupidly printed it out, ran to ten pages, and then I considered they would make interesting wallpaper in a post lockdown phase, history in its development ! Have a cloakroom that could be a test site.

I totally agree. I have a granddaughter who's on immuno suppressant drugs (chemo) for JIA (Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis) and I really hope she's considered quite early on along with others in similar positions.

That's a lot to print out. Hmm, don't think they'd agree to your cloakroom😂.

Sorry it's after midnight but there are a lot of Christians praying that we will see the end of this Pandemic so other treatments for life threatening illnesses and diseases can be prioritized again! It makes me extremely sad that human beings with cancer and their treatments, and urgent operations have been delayed or postponed! I am praying that we all can stay strong, safe despite all! It's such a tough time for us all! Thank you for all my friends here on health unlocked who encourage me, cheer me up and make me laugh! Especially Alicia and Lynne 💗 and a few others who talk to me! God bless you all and have a good night rest please!👍🥰🙏🎄🎅

Aww, bless you. That is so nice of you to say this it's just terrible isn't it? A friend of mine knows a consultant who works on oncology out patients. He came home feeling very low after seeing one of his patients. He said 5 weeks ago he could have cured her but now it's terminal. So so sad. ❤️🙏❤️🙏

That is very sad indeed Lynne, very sad 😢 I am afraid there are quite a few cancer patients whom's treatments have come too late! It shouldn't happen not in our modern world! It's shocking Lynne! A relative of my daughter's, her ex-husband's Mum, died sadly this year because of a brain tumor! It came back and there was nothing doctors could do any more! Well my and her grandson has lost 1 Grandma now! Her name was Christine, nearly like my name! I do miss this lady! Sad she has gone this way, as wasn't even 60! Too young to die!My Mum was 68 years old when she died on Christmas Eve 2000! I do miss my Mum dearly especially around Christmas time! But we need to live and be strong for our children Lynne and strong for ourselves too! You are going to hospital soon aren't you! Praying it goes well !

Will keep you in my prayers Lynne and big hugs for you 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

in reply toSnowdrops_17

Yes, I miss my Mum and Dad terribly. I will never get over losing them but I've had to learn to live with it but it is very hard. Love and hugs to you and yours Lynne 🤗💕💕 🤗🌈🌹 xxxx

Bless you Sops! That is hard! Sadly we can't predict our future, even if we tried! We have to live every day and count us blessed when we wake up every morning to a new day! I feel for all those who have lost family, friends and relatives this year! 2020 was and is still a very difficult and unpredictable year! May we see the end of this Pandemic very soon Sops 🙏💕

Pray your daughter will recover soon darling! I only have 1 daughter and would be devastated if anything would happen to her!🙏🤗

It's great news. I do think that clinically vulnerable people should be prioritised along with the older population. I think I read that this is still being considered, but I can't remember where I read it.

🙂🌸

It's great news isn't it?

Totally agree, it's excellent news. I heard it on the radio this morning. Bring it on.😊😊

I know what you are saying but Covid-19 is a new virus and has caused a global Pandemic! With all new vaccinations in the past, they have been surely a few hiccups and improvements may had to be made! Flu vaccine, doesn't mean it completely protects you but if you should have Flu, it be less nasty in its course! Let's not jump to conclusions and get all anxious and worked up please! And nobody has said, Elderlies will be the guinea pigs! Zappa, they had guinea pigs already to trial the vaccine 🙏

You’d be hard pushed to find a vaccine that is 100%

Agreed. I read that The Flu jab can reduce the risk of Flu illness by between 40% - 60% among the overall population. 100% protection is setting a very high bar.
