I’m sorry you can’t enjoy the warm weather and you have breathing problems. It is very hot but I’m trying to enjoy it while it lasts. I don’t think it will be as hot tomorrow so hopefully more pleasant for you. 🙂Ali
I don't have breathing problems but still find this really hot weather very difficult to cope with. I think if you have breathing difficulties it must be very uncomfortable. Hopefully it will be a bit cooler tomorrow. 😊
I just couldn't breathe yesterday. Today a bit better with a breeze. Heat has made it hard to do anything.
I don't enjoy the heat-can't sit in the sun - meds prevent me from subathing-Anagralide!
Seems that I'm getting older and unable to tolerate intense heat -have noticed this regularly! Not sleeping well either!
I dislike heat, I much prefer temperate weather. Today I've decided I must get on with the housework and must wear my compression socks. I find it difficult to sleep at night and concentrate during the day. And having self isolated for nearly 100 days I get very annoyed at the idiots going to the coast or celebrating a football team in the street. There's a killer out there but they don't appear to care about anyone except themselves.
Morning Thomas45,
Like you I do not like the heat, thankfully we do not have too many really hot long stretches here in the UK, but I suppose with global warming this could well start to change.
Yes it is extremely annoying after all this time of self isolation that some idiots in our society obviously think they are immune from getting the virus, and do not understand ( or maybe do not even care), the risk they can pose to so many other people by there behaviours.
I really do think Boris needs to address this urgently - goodness only knows how we would all cope if we have a big spike in the infection rates again- the poor NHS ( and everyone else involved in trying to keep us all going, GPs, Pharmacies delivery drivers etc) have only just managed to cope - I think we still have some difficult times ahead however.
But with the kindness and support that can be found within this wonderful community I am sure we will all get through this together.
Keep well, cool and safe,
regards,
Shirley
It was very humid yesterday not good for lung conditions. Hope to see the rain today if only to clear the air. Stay safe
Find the heat definately affects my breathing but also surprisingly seems to make the pain from the bone lesion worse.
But do so enjoy seeing pure blue skies with no clouds and listening to neighbours children splashing around in their paddling pool. There would have been some very very wet ,happy and tired children next door last night!
Hi bobbyfloyd,
How good of you, when suffering from the heat, to tell others to enjoy it and remember that you once enjoyed it too. I feel the same way now, but at times in my life I lived in hot climates and absolutely loved it. Nowadays I have to look for the nearest fan and just wilt! Fortunately in UK we seldom have to suffer it for long! Stay as cool as you can! 🔆🌈🙏
Morning bobbyfloyd,
Like you I do not like the hot weather, being the same since I was very young. Apparently my internal temperature control ( which I understand is located in the hypothalamus in our brain) dose not work as well as it should so I can over heat very quickly. But still like to get out in the sunshine just not when it this hot and humid.
I do hope you are feeling a bit better today though.
Hurrah I can hear rain drops on my little back door canopy roof - and yes I do believe the air is moving around a bit and not quite so humid. !!
Take care, keep safe and cool,
Bye bye for now x
