Hi all
Hope you are all well.
I've been out again today on a powerwalk/jog and pleased to say I beat the rain, bonusπ.
I walked/jogged 10.65 miles and feel good for it.

Hi Alicia, I'm always amazed at how many miles you get through. The maximum I can do is 4 miles but I would like to improve on this gradually. I believe one of these new watches could help to motivate and encourage me as I can monitor the steps I take each walk then convert into miles. I want to get a simple one and as you are a serious walker could you advise me on the kind I should get. Thanks, Chrys x
Hi Chrys
Thank you very much for your very kind words, it's much appreciated.
The distance of 4 miles is very good as it keeps you mobile and can keep you fit as well. To be honest I wouldn't even contemplate on anything like a watch or a Fitbit. My daughter and son-in-law had Fitbits on their wrists and it even counted when my daughter was whisking someone up in a bowl so they are false figures. I actually use my Samsung mobile phone, I have the Samsung Health app on the phone and use that one for recording my steps, I then go on to the internet and put in my height and weight and roughly how fast I've been walking and it converts the steps into miles. Also the app has an icon for walking so if you choose that one it'll constantly record how many kilometres you're walking and also there's one for cycling as well and again it records the kilometres.

Thanks for your comprehensive reply Alicia. Valuable advice.X
You are most welcome Chrys, those smart watches are expensive and certainly not needed.
Stay safe and well πππ€ xx
Hi Jerry
Thank you and I was so pleased I beat the rain, that was definitely a bonus.
Enjoy the rest of your day.

Mind over matters in this case, you beat the rain. Way to go Alicia πππβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈπxxx
Oh mosrkt definitely, I was really pleased to avoid the rainπββοΈπΆββοΈπππ xxx
Definitely. Iβm thinking of choosing between the rainy and the windy weather, I rather pick the rain if I have to. Itβs been windy over here n my allergy kicked up but itβs okay now today sunny sky. π€β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈπxxx
It's become very windy here tonight, I don't like the wind. I'd rather have drizzle. I'm sorry your allergies kicked in but glad you're ok now.ππππ xxx
I am good now. Took some Claritin yesterday. Love when itβs drizzle. Have a wonderful rest of the day Alicia. β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈππxxx
That's really good and Claritin is a very good anti histamine πππ xxx
Oh yes Alicia. Claritin is much better than Zyrtec which never works for me. Allegra-D is the best, non drowsy when you have allergy and congestion. β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈxxx
It's a very good one. Thank you for mentioning Allegra-D, I'll look at that one as I have Pruritus so it might help my itchy skinπππ xxx
Youβre welcome Alicia. If you have itchy skin n look for atopic relief, A-derma balm emollient with exomega works wonderfully. I have skin dermatitis some time acting up badly when Iβm stressed or weather changes. π β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈxxx
I have tried so many creams but never looked for a specific ingredient, thank you for that.
I'm sorry you have skin dermatitis.
I'll look for creams with exomega, thank youππππππ xxx
Any time Alicia. Have a good night and sweet dreams πππβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈπxxx
Thank you. It was a good night.ππππ xxxπππ
I got carried away here - and It was raining when I wanted to get out for a walk.I fell asleep while I was waiting for the rain to move on - and ended up walking at about 23:00!
Well that's what I call dedication going out for a walk at that time of night, well done.ππ
