It's a beautiful day here and it started off with a ground frost but that soon melted and then we had glorious sunshine. It's 7 degrees celsius here but with the sun it's felt lovely and warm and if you're out of the breeze you could easily have a picnic.
Whilst walking through the woods today I could even smell Wild Garlic, the leaves are well and truly out so it won't be long before the flowers appear, a sure sign of Spring and I love the smell of Wild Garlic. I walked 23695 steps which equates to 11.86 miles.
I hope your days are going well and you're staying safe and well.
I hope you like the photos. The middle left photo is the Wild Garlic making an appearance.
Enjoy the rest of your day.

You are right about the smell of garlic Alicia. One of my regular walks before lockdown was through a wood where the smell of garlic was overpowering. Now you have posted that picture has reminded me of the better days to look forward to. I also love coastal walking and hope that will be back on the agenda soon as well.
It smells so good and reminds you of the better time of year and the lovely walks through woodland. I really do lovely woodland walks, they can be so interesting. Definitely better days to look forward to, the past year is now behind us and things are looking up now. It'll soon be back on the agenda where you'll be able to enjoy the countryside far and wide, who needs abroad when we have such a beautiful country.
I love the smell and it stopped me in my tracks so I took a deep breath in to smell it again, it was fairly faint but it was definitely Wild Garlic. Same here, absolutely beautiful in the sun but as soon as you're in the shade in a breeze you can feel the cool air. I'm glad you've had the sun as well, such a treat to see it, makes you feel so good.
I've just edited the post to show how far I walked today and it was 11.86 miles.
Stay safe and well and enjoy the rest of your day as well Jerry. ππππ
Lovely photos cf. I love the smell of wild garlic too. We bought a pot plant to start ours off and all it did was die!!! We didn't get another as we found out that it can be a very invasive plant. xx
Thank youπ. Wild Garlic is a gorgeous smell isn't it. Oh no but as it's an invasive plant, which I didn't know, then maybe best that you don't grow it xx
We intended to but since it seems to have died, we have found out that it self seeds quite prolifically so I'm not sure we will bother again as we wouldn't want it spreading seed about. xx
