Yep.Now retired.
I would still be working if I hadn't become disabled due to a brain injury. I was originally a primary school teacher, then I worked with children with severe emotional and behavioural problems for a charity.

Secondary school. I was head of drama and taught some English as well. I took early retirement due to Rheumatoid Arthritis
Ah, that's interesting. My passion is English. I really find it hard that I can't read books any more. My degree was in English language and literature. I went to University as a mature student, or as I used to say, 'An immature mature student!'
I really miss my job and working in general.
I do hope that you are enjoying your retirement.

I am enjoying it now thanks to the meds I'm on. I never really missed working as by the time I gave up I was in so much pain and fatigue that I wasn't really coping with the job. I wouldn't give in and admit I couldn't cope but it got to the point where I had no choice. The first two years I got steadily worse until my meds were changed and now I have a reasonably ' normal' life. I miss the kids and staff but to he honest I'm enjoying the more leisurely life. And as you say we have the hobby of teasing Bazzak. 'Bazzak Baiting' as we should call it😊
I am glad to hear that you can enjoy your retirement more now.
I think the term, 'Bazzak Baiting,' might catch on! Much better than badger baiting and no innocent creatures are involved! 😀🌸
