PMR Anyone else experience this

I was diagnosed last Sept. and I've tried reducing the prednisone, even using the drop dead slow method and still had flare ups and had to increase the pred....then a month ago we sold our house, I started working long days, packing up this 6 bedroom house, started building our other home, so lots of stress and issues and about 3 wks in, instead of feeling achy or having flares, I started feeling normal and last week I went from 5mg to 4 and didn't notice any flares any aches.....I don't know if my body is starting into remission or it just likes doing workouts and is responding to that.

Hi remission , although I cannot relate, I am so happy to hear you are feeling normally and are able to reduce your levels of prednisone! Maybe your body does like the exercise! Good luck with the work and moving house, hope you continue to feel better!

thanks, feels good to feel the ole self coming back and energy levels improving

I'm so glad you've started to feel normal and hope it goes on like that for you.

I don't know whether this would be usual remission, but it sounds like quite a result. I hope that happy state of affairs continues for you! 👍😁
