Hi, there are so many practical things we can do. I prefer the antidepressant skills to the pills where I can. 🙂
When I can't manage any longer on my own the best thing for me is to revisit the therapist for a mental health check up👍
I do take antidepressants but have also learnt over the years, what activities cheer me up. There are some books and films that always lift my mood. Some music also has an excellent effect. I have the Olympics from London on CD, which can pull me up. I know many people find exercise greatly helps, as I am unable to do much of this, cannot comment. I did have very good CBT some years ago, during which we explored the things that worked for me, and some trigger activities that would help me as an individual.
Hi jain88, Unfortunately we can't deeply discuss any possible solutions for depression within this community. We are very happy to support you with your mental health condition, but we aren't experts in the field. Many of us may have suffered clinical depression as individuals, but that is not the function of this community. Our mission and aim is to promote positivity and we are happy to help you with that.
