I know what you mean, there seemed to be a lot not wearing them when I popped out, my friend wore hers and she's mightily fed up but knows its for the best

Hi Jennymary

That sounds like you had a lovely day. How nice that your friend cut your hair.

I had my Dietician telephone appointment today, went out for a nice coastal walk with hubby then came back and had coffee in the garden.

Have a lovely evening.

Hi Jennymary, that sounds like a good way to have spent the day. Mine was tiring as I trekked all the way around Ikea in a hunt for a new wardrobe. Found the inner fittings I'd like, to find that they will be out of stock for several months! It seems that many people have had the same idea as us. With holidays off the menu for now, thoughts are turning to household upgrades! Oh well, it was as good as a long walk I suppose! Hope you enjoy your evening!😊

Busy day here today with a 5 mile lunchtime walk, future learn and applied for some jobs and sorted out an interview for a breakfast cooks job for 4 August at 1pm and watched war of the worlds with tom cruise in it as well.

Hello!

I spent the entire day looking at local primary schools and asking questions. I contacted four or five different primary schools in my area via email or by phone as well as checking their websites. I even requested a prospectus too. Now I hope to observe a lesson in full swing, meet the staff and talk to some of the pupils in addition. I have briefly read inspection reports and talked to other parents.

I also booked a seaside hotel for four days next month and finalised our travel plans.

Hi, I downloaded a collage app, so have been messing about with that. I have done a painting from a tutorial today and learned a bit more art stuff. Did the usual household chores. I'm just about to do another painting. Hope you are having a nice evening. 😊🌻

Sounds like another good day.

We had a short high country walk in the Sierra with Old Ike, a picnic, a swim, and did some birding.

I had to go and get bloods done this morning, not my usual tiny surgery though. Had my mask on but the door was locked. The notice said I had to phone to get in, after 5 minutes pressing the right keys on phone I finally got to speak to someone, told them I was at the door, it was like Fort Knox. I then had to put on an xtra large pair of gloves then sanitise my hands. I stood waiting for nurse to come and get me. I had them done last month and when receptionist called to say I had to have them done again I asked why and she couldn’t say, this was first thing I asked the nurse. She said my white blood count was low so here we go again, I hope it goes back up, I have lymphoma and supposed to get checked at the hospital every three months but not been checked since December because of Covid. After that we went a wee trip to our nearest coastal town, it was freezing, blew the cobwebs off us, came back home, put the heating on and fell asleep.

Hi Jenny, I hope you enjoyed getting a haircut ? I took my older cat for a blood test yesterday, usually they fully sedate him as he gets very anxious which unfortunately puts him somewhere near the top of their list of pets to treat with caution! Normally they would have three nurses on hand to help with the sedation but of course they couldn’t do that, they managed to give him enough light sedation to get the job done but he was freaking out big time on the journey home! At one point I almost turned the car around to go back to the vets. Thankfully he’s now settled and more like his usual self.

Today it’s back to sewing masks again.

Very proud of myself.

Took my first walk out and loved looking in the gardens on the main road -gorgeous flowers everywhere.

Didn't manage far as very breathless but a joy to be out in the big wide world.
