I lost a couple of days, drawing this lovey girl. Thank goodness I found those pencils in the attic, when searching for something else π

She is gorgeous and this is a fabulous drawing. Well done. It's amassing what you find in your attic. I am in the middle of clearing mine. Who knows what I'll find. Keep up the good work. Being creative is so good for our wellbeing while providing a lot of of pleasure and satisfaction.

We needed to declutter, looking for a particular object. Itβs nice to reminisce on easier times. After reading my school reports, all with positive comments on my art, I decided that, while at home, shielding and feeling sorry for myself, I would pick up my pencils, (new ones, my husband had bought for me) to make the most of the time I had at home.
So far itβs been the a God send. π
Iβm not sure what pencils you have, some are softer than others. When you start researching Coloured pencils and the types of paper, well, it becomes quite complicated and also a matter of preference too. I have found, if they are quite soft, mine are aqua pencils, try to regulate the pressure. It will take more layers of colour to get the colour youβre hoping to achieve but itβs worth it. You can do fine detail a sharp pencil, on the eyes etc. I have to admit, the cheaper option isnβt as enjoyable, the colour isnβt the same. I think you get what you pay for.
Good luck and I look forward to seeing your creations π
Thank you. I find the end result so satisfying, especially if I leave the picture for a few minutes and then come back to it. π
π𧑠Oh my goodness, how beautiful is that. Wawl that really is absolutely stunning. When are you going to take this up full time? xx
Just make sure you havenβt got any jobs to do before you sit down and start drawing. Then your mind will be clear to enjoy creating π
Have fun ππ»
