I'm cream crackered but in a good way

I'm cream crackered now. Got up at 05:00 today to get to the supermarket at 06:00 to see if I could get spelt flour, that wasn't successful so I'm going to have to do without, here's to making oat bread. It was also good going that early as I was able to avoid too many people so a good result but I did see two women bulk buying, no wonder we cannot get what we need and in a minute we'll end up being rationed. The women had two trolleys that were basically overloaded and then then just crammed it into a car.

Anyway, enough of that. I had a fabulous walk today, one of my favourites through my local woods, I went the long way round to make up my steps which equated to 20579.

I hope you like the photos.

Alicia :)

Wow, over 20,000 steps, that's about 15 miles, well done.

I most certainly do like the photos Alicia. They make me want to get out my art gear out again.

I love landscape scenes and these are lovely. You have a good eye!

Ooh, I think you need to get out your art gear, would love to see your creations.

Thank you Chrys, it wasn't easy to take them because it was so bright, not that I'm complaining though😊

Thank you Jerry and yes too early for shopping but it was a much better keep your distance time to go.

Thank you and I'm definitely cream crackered now, no 05:00 alarm tomorrow, more respectively 08:00, much better.😉😊

Hi crazyfitness, Those are lovely, calming pictures. Everyone's pics are of such comfort to me. I'm housebound in a city location and I can't get out to anywhere that's remotely pretty, especially now only essential journeys are permitted. I can't even walk up our main street as people will not keep their distance. I do wish people would be more thoughtful and considerate. But anyway, so grateful to look at some beautiful photos and live an outside life vicariously. Take care and stay well.

Hi there Callendersgal, I'm glad the photos are a comfort and can only imagine what it must be like for you.

Unfortunately people have been the same here but I make it obvious that I'm keeping out of the way.

Please stay safe and well as well.

Alicia

I'm lucky I live out in countryside but in shops people still jostling you. Sorry you can't get out.

It really does Zoonie, particularly in the current situation.

I have a collage facility on my phone. When I go into gallery, click on the dots at the top right and then I choose collage, it's really easy on a Samsung.

Yes I've got collage on my android phone too. In mine you press longer on 1st pic so puts dot on it pic others then at top a + touch that and collage so if you've an android phone try that Zoonie

Fabulous photos and 5am get-.up, now that’s something to be proud of, and I totally agree with what you said about people bulk-buying. All I say is-selfishness!

in reply to Lite75

Thank you, yes 05:00 was a little early but I will leave it to later next week and when I left the store it still wasn't too busy. People are still being selfish, they are only thinking of themselves.

Love your photos. Maybe give the ladies the benefit of the doubt. They might be carers shopping for a care facility. x

in reply to hilary33

Thank you. That's a good thing to say, I didn't think about that. They could be. What I think we do need now is proof if we are buying for other people i.e. the elderly/sick and then it would stop the bulk buying. x

Love the photos and that's some step count. You live in a beautiful area. All shops round here rationing you. Lidl it's 4 of mists items but only 2 for milk or loo rolls which people still stockpiling why? And why not tissues!!??

I have never heard the phrase cream crackered. (I'm in the US). What does it mean? Also what is spelt flour?

in reply to Amkoffee

It means in a polite way tired. Spelt flour is an ancient grain and has less wheat in it, using it for sourdough makes it a lot easier on the tummy.

Thank you Hidden for answering as well.👍
