If you have both left & right handed people in your household at the moment (we tried it at work). Stand side by side after you have made a drink & watch which way you stir it. Chris

It's only me at home and I'll be to self-concious , so I'll wait and then remember which way I did it! My guess as a right-hander is anti-clockwise??

I've just made a drink & I stirred anti clockwise & I'm left handed. It might not be the true because I was concentrating & watching. Chris

I am ambidextrous - and I try to do everything with either hand.

I do not write left-handed - but, when I was a design engineer using a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) system, my right arm suffered - so I have used my computer mouse left-handed ever since. When I use CAD or Photoshop, I use the mouse with my left hand and the tablet pen with my right hand.

When I was a student working on a farm, I was able to hoe one row of sugar-beet right-handed and the next left-handed.

I did my PhD in psychology on visual perception and that was 25 years ago but I still get RSI from spending so long using a mouse on Photoshop. I remember just tapping a packet of seeds on my allotment and it triggered the same thing all the way from finger to shoulder. Be careful - try one of those vertical mouses (mice??) best wishes, Mike

Does MOUSE stand for "Microprocessor Optimised Ultra-Sonic Emitter"? and is a "Realtime Asynchronous Transmitter" (RAT) a bigger, better version?

Being ambidextrous solved the problem, but I still use my mouse with my left hand.

While I try to unlock the acronym,

Where does 'Rat' fit in? :)

I'm right handed and I always stir my drinks clockwise.

HaHa interesting, I’m a lefty and I stir anti clockwise I’m going to watch which way my husband does it 🧐

Yes, interesting. We are both right handed but have two left handed sons. I was born in an era and culture where my mother thought you had to change left handed ness.. I think she made us use our right. Anyone else hear of

that ?

I think I may be a a righty who is truly a lefty.

I stir counterclockwise. I’ll watch my other family members.

The only thing I know about changing left handers was my mum's sister who was made to do everything right handed by the school, mum was 6 years younger & by then the school had given up because all the cousins were also left handed (that was in Scotland). Auntie born 1921 & mum was born 1927
