Not much apart from my zoom reading group. We did have a short discussion about when libraries reopen are we going back there or staying on Zoom, most of us want a return to the library, and we also have some people who come to the library who don't use computers
I did think about a short walk to the garage to see if they had any nice cakes in but its cold wet and miserable here today so I've stayed in, there's always tomorrow though

Went and bought some Guinness, did a tiny bit of gardening and a bit of cooking.
Later ill do Jays virtual quiz on YouTube and drink the Guinness.
The weather is OK here, it's dry, overcast and warm.
Hi Jennymary, I haven't done much today. I am quite tired today. I took the dogs out earlier. Did the usual household chores. It is raining here at the moment. I might have a look for a film to watch on Netflix. I do hope you are having a pleasant evening. xx
Sorry to hear that the weather and temps. were not good for going on a walk today. It's nice, though that you were able to have your Zoom reading group today. If the rest of the group feels that it'll be easier to do the reading group in person, I think that would be a good idea for you. It'll get everyone out and see other people (when it's safe and possible to be done).
My day has been okay. My air conditioning unit had to have an emergency repair done early this morning after having breakfast. I went on the phone and computer, got some new books from a delivery this morning (didn't know they were waiting for me), wrote and replied to e-mail messages on and off of HU all day, had lunch, sent text messages to my friends and family and did replies to postings and comments on the groups.
Later today, I plan to read the rest of my book and then start a new one before bed, decide what dinner will be, watch some TV and then work on the new word scramble puzzles for the next morning to be posted.
Have a good evening, now and stay safe, Jenny.
Hi Jennymary, Well your zoom reading group must be a wonderful distraction during lockdown. It can't replace a library of course, but it's a great way to get together and be companionable. Hmm... cake versus bad weather. Yes, a good decision to stay home I think. It has been very blustery and showery and I don't know about your location but here we had some rumbles of thunder and lightening. It hardly amounted to a storm though, thankfully.
So I spent my time baking some pitta breads and making falafels to go with them, and that made a great lunch.
I did watch a little bit of TV this afternoon, but I'm afraid I ended up with the TV watching me. I've just had a shower to freshen up and I'm now all set for some viewing this evening. Enjoy your evening too Jennymary.
I went out to pay the bill of the person who did the renovations of my flat which is a rental flat. It is currently empty and given Lock Down this has impacted on the rental income I used to receive .
I also did some food shopping and prepared a Chicken and Prawn Chowmein
Many times the food I cook is better than the food I buy .
I hope you enjoyed your reading group and it will be really good when you can go back to the library.
I don't blame you for not going out in that weather. We had a very cold, wet and windy early to mid morning then by late morning it started to brighten up.
I made a low fodmap sweet potato and chickpea curry, two batches of biscuits for hubby, peanut butter and baked my sourdough loaves so a busy morning.
As the weather brightened up I went for a walk this afternoon.
Hope you get out tomorrow and the weather is better.
Take care and stay safe.

Been out to the park for a walk and met my friend there which I enjoyed, been on future learn, listened to music, caught up with the washing and carried on with my book no angel.
Hopefully the weather will be a bit better tomorrow and you will be able to venture out for cakes which are always a good 'pick me up'.
We have not done a lot today either although hubby did manage 30mins. in the garden before it started to pour down. I've been doing a bit more research re the family tree and have joined a facebook group from where I lived as a child which is proving quite interesting.
Tonight we watched a film (93 days) which was very good although it will be something more light hearted tomorrow evening.
Tomorrow will be a good day to use the expression made famous by Captain Tom.
Took down the front garden picket fence, dug out two 100 x 100 fence posts, concreted in two sockets in their place, then shaped and put in two new 100 x 100 posts, re-erected the picket fence, followed up with the first coat of dark wood stain on the new fence posts. For an encore, the tin of wood stain fell over and the contents formed a pool on the light stone coloured steps leading to the front door. Unrepeatable language and I finally mopped it up without leaving a mark on the steps. Rain is due so painting the fence will be delayed until Saturday.
Unpacked surgical masks and hand sanitiser and rang the hospital to confirm my COVID-19 test (on our wedding anniversary!) as my delayed procedure is going ahead this month.
In the evening I dealt with emails as I'm a Trustee of a community registered charity and, issued two FOIs to the DVLA on visual disability issues.
I did the same other year with dark stain i got jet washer out got most of it off and rest.faded over time. Glad you got yours all up. Hope the test.clear and your procedure goes ahead
You'll have saved some calories not having the cake. It was very similar here yesterday and again today. We've got a bit of excitement here today........drum roll please.....Archie's getting groomed this afternoon YEAH wish it was me though obviously a haircut for me. Glad your zoom reading went well and maybe it would be nice to get back to library
