Had a really good day

Sister arrived with a food parcel also meals to plate up for tomorrow & Monday 😊

Pub lunch, well organised, sanitiser at the door, only a couple of people allowed at the ordering desk, tables pre booked, normally 2 separate doors into pub, now only one and a different one to leave through😊

During lunch sister asked if I wanted to go anywhere,,, where did I choose..... An actual supermarket, bigger than I've got locally, off we went short queue to go in and I pushed a trolley round, usually just pick up a basket 😊

That sounds great Jennymary. What a lovely day. It all seems so much gratifying to go out and enjoy yourself at the moment I think. I envy you. I was in a stuffy kitchen baking a quiche and had a day of on/off tachycardia which always makes me feel a bit tired and stressed. But as it always does, it vanishes as quickly as it arrives, so just taking it easy here. Hope you have a relaxing evening after your outing! πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ”†

What a great day you have had and the pub lunch sounded good. I had my granddaughter yesterday and she stayed overnight. They certainly ware you out. When she left this morning, I've been spring cleaning hear and there. I've been preparing the stairs and landing for a new carpet. I feel a bit tired now so I'll probably relax soon. I wanted to get some practice with the water colour painting in tonight. So hopefully I'll get some done while I pop on here. I think I caught a photo of a Red Admiral butterfly I think that's what is was. It was in my house, I opened the window and let it go. Have a pleasant evening. 😊🌻

Sounds like a great day, so pleased you enjoyed yourself β€οΈπŸ˜˜πŸ™

Had a walk round the streets today rather than in the parks as they get congested when the weathers nice so decided to take to the streets this lunchtime instead, been on future learn, watched some films, applied for 6 jobs and will crack on with some reading after dinner.

You did have a nice day! Good xx

I did a bit of pottering in the garden, but as Callendersgal told me to take the day off, I haven't done much at all ;))) xx

Hey Jennymary what a lovely day you've had and how lovely to eat out, bet that made your day. Glad you got to the supermarket as well.

So pleased to hear your day has gone well.

I went on Dartmoor and met the family, we popped into a DIY on the way home and then I cycled to the post office to post a parcel.

Hi Jennymary ,

Wow! It sounds like you had a wonderful time and day with your sister. I'm glad she was able to stop by and you both got to go out to eat and do some shopping afterwards.:-)

For my day, I had eaten breakfast and lunch. Did some reading (planning to do more reading before bed and after dinner), listened to music on my bedroom radio, sent messages on HU, did replies to postings/comments, planning the next book posting for August and then have dinner tonight around 5:30 pm. We're having big salads. :-)

I have a little pain/cramp, but I plan to deal with it before heading to eat tonight.

Have a good night, Jenny. Stay safe! :-)

What a lovely day you had. Almost back to normal. I shall be glad when we can get beyond the garden gate. Getting really fed up with it all now. Did have a nice surprise on Wednesday afternoon, our 25 year old grandson called round for an hour, only the 3rd time we have seen him since this started. Our youngest daughter delivered our shopping yesterday and those have been the highlights of our week. At least the sun is shining again today so can get outside in the garden for a bit. Trouble is I am starting to get scared thinking about going out again, so that is not good. Loss of confidence for some reason. I think it is partly due to DH's dementia getting worse and he struggles to walk beyond a few yards. I am starting to feel a bit like a 'mother', when in fact I could do with someone to lean on for a bit! But, as they say, that's life - get on with it! Stay safe everyone . xx
