I'm sure most of not all of you have had a better day than me, didn't get up very early, 11.00am, emailed GP surgery to ensure I knew when I could next order my meds, and yes, I can 7-10 days before they're due, hopefully set myself up to get them delivered from Boots, I'll find out in the next.couple of weeks, and did the bit of ironing I've had sitting around for a few days, and that's been my day, the only very small bright side is that the Daily Mail are saying the crisis could be over by Easter, although we all know it'll take months for life to return to normal

I think the Daily Mail is being a bit optimistic saying it should be over by Easter, perhaps they should have said Easter 2021
As they haven't said which year I'm wondering the same thing
I’m not sure I’d believe what’s written in the mail - sounds like they’re singing the same hymn as The Donald!
Point is no one really knows when it will be over.
Its a matter of living for today.
I've been out and about shopping early and then out on a lovely powerwalk.
I think we'll be in lockdown for a while as people are still being stupid. Also I've noticed that supermarkets are providing sanitisers with cloths to wipe trolleys down but you have to collect your trolley first from outside as the sanitisers are in the store, what's the point in that as you would have already of put your hands on the trolley. Common sense sometimes flies out of the window.
Hi Jennymary, sorry to hear your day was a bit average and mundane. Do you find your mood goes up and down too? I do. Some days seem so much worse to cope with than others. And today my daughter was having a down day, and I had a tearful call this afternoon. It's a good job we feel up and down at different times, so we can support each other.
It was really a great idea to call your GP surgery to find out about when you can order your meds again, because that's all going to become more challenging for them and us. Our surgery is now closed down due to not enough staff to cope. It was understaffed for a long time before the crisis and this has just seen them off completely and we have to get all advice from a sister surgery. Good job there are computers linking all three partner surgeries up!
I don't think we can stop ourselves wishing away this dreadful time but I really can't think this will be over by Easter, any more than that claim in WW2, 1939, that it would all be over by Christmas.
Best probably to just take one day at a time and do the best we can with it. It can be very difficult to fill the days and whatever you do when you have to be on your own and inside, it becomes tedious. You get tired just looking for things to do.
I really hope you'll have a better day tomorrow Jennymary. We'll all look forward to reading your next post, however you fill your day tomorrow.
Rest assured we have you in our thoughts and I hope you'll continue to be as brave as you are being.
Take care and keep on staying safe.
