Coping in this Psndemic

There are times I have sought sup pry from this group and I have been given overwhelmingly good support

I think with the aid of a Psychotherapist and CBT awareness I can relate to many aspects of this current crisis as this has caused me to be triggered

I have actually lived through many parallels on my own as my Mother is overseas

I think what I have learned is that a person crisis be it a job , business , health or family illness

It can cause the greatest pain and suffering but it will come to an end

My episodes of anxiety have been brought about parallels to my own life

I think we are stronger than we think

It quite appropriate here

Hi Roukaya thanks for your message, you're so right that this pandemic will come to an end eventually and that is so important for people to focus on. We're definitely stronger than we think, including yourself, so keep hanging in there :). The community is here for you whenever you need to chat!

I love your post today. You sound full of optimism. We know life holds ups and downs for us and it's our ability to reflect and reason that can give us the will to move forward. We are all stronger than we think and you are stronger. xx

Thank you for your reply

I try to accept the crisis unfolding in front of us

But I am on my own my Mother projects all her fears on to me

I am fifty trying to requalify in Wills and Probate

I have been told by a Psychotherapist that I have been traumatised and this has impacted on my ability to pass the Diploma and find a years work experience

I realise that we all have our cross to carry but when my Mother tells me of her anxieties at times I am deflated

You keep working through it and that's important to keep trying, to find something that is good for you. I think through this time of uncertainty at present, you are doing ever so well coping with everything. xx
