I am really scared have had diarrhoea 10 days ago and aches for the period in between. Got a slight temperature yesterday and a bit of one now. Has anyone had corona and offer any advice on what to do. I called the advice line and they said as I didn't have a cough to self isolate. I am on my own and scared x

Please try to stay calm and positive, I know it must be so hard for you especially with you being on your own but please try. You haven't said you have a fever and no cough, may just be feeling anxious. We can't make any medical comments as none of us are medically trained. But if you are still worried in a few days please get more medical advice. We are also here if you are feeling lonely and need a chat or rant and rave. We are all in this together and support each other. Please let us know how you are doing and have a good night and stay safe.😊 Bernadette xx
As you don't have a cough you may NOT have Cofid 19, however, if your condition deteriorates phone a emergency health line.
This doesn’t sound good and I think you better call your md.
Hi Neens123, it can feel very scary at the moment especially if you're feeling ill. Obviously none of us are medically trained but don't forget that normal colds and flu are still about too so it may well just be that, but obviously do get in touch with a doctors or 111 again if you feel worse. In terms of practical support with shopping etc and emotional support eg phone calls there are lots of local helplines being set up now. If you're on Facebook maybe check that for a self isolation support group near you, as there are lots and they may be able to point you in the right direction of local helplines or delivery services. Think there are some similar groups on here too but new to the group so not sure! Hope you feel better soon and keep reaching out if you need to talk, we are all here for you!
Hi Neens123, please try not to worry too much. Remember that the majority of people who get the virus, will not become critically ill. My own daughter has had similar symptoms to yours, for a similar period of time. She has just now developed a persistent dry cough and is assuming she has Covid-19 as there's no test available, The recommended thing is to stay isolated at home and use paracetamol for symptoms, and only to seek further help if those worsen and you begin to have problems with breathing.
One thing I've suggested to my daughter is to use steam to help her cough up any lung secretions and she's using her facial steamer to do that, and it's helping her enormously. If you too get a cough, and don't have a facial steamer, you can use very hot water poured into a bowl, (taking great care not to scald yourself), and then, using just the steam or adding some Vicks to the water, place a towel over your head and breathe in the hot steam for a few minutes. Come up for air now and again, if it's too uncomfortably hot.
It's also equally possible that this is just another seasonal illness, so please try to relax and don't make too many assumptions as to what will happen next.
Hoping your fears are unfounded and wishing you all the best.
Hi Neens123 sorry you are on your own but don’t feel alone, ther3 are lots of lovely people on here 😊 my husband also just had symptoms like yours, our dr didn’t think it was Corona virus, but to keep a check on it....thankfully, although still a little weak, he is over it 😁
💞💞
Try to stay calm. Keep hydrated. Please God you will feel better soon 🙏😍
I suggest Vit C Vit D and I take Oregano oil. Will help with Immune system.
Have you been having diarrhoea for 10 days straight? It’s definitely not a symptom of Covid. Xx
It sounds to me like you are suffering with anxiety, it can actually make you have symptoms.
I used to have Emetophobia really badly, fear of being sick, and I would often convince myself I had a tummy bug and would make myself feel sick.
Anxiety and phobias are awful but we're hear to listen. If you're still worried in a couple of says or so and still not feeling right then ring 111.
Your symptoms dont sound classic to me for the virus.
Please take care and we are all here to support and help each other.
Well non of us can say for sure but anxiety can make any situation worse. I'm like you live alone and think what would I do especially as asthmatic but trying not to dwell on that. Take paracetamol to help with temperature and if no better in few days or if get worse ring 111 if in this country or your emergency number if elsewhere.
The main symptoms are high fever and persistent cough so if get them could be but unless you get really bad treatment is stay at home and don't forget we are still in flu and diarrhoea season.
Being stressed out and anxious and thinking bout what symptoms u may have can bring on said symptoms, what I mean if u think that u getting a sore throat long enough then body reacts like u got a sore throat but try N be positive I am self isolating on my own but I read some posts on here and realise there are worse off then me but like others on here we are all helping each other out and know everyone will at leastake 1 new friend or friends when it all gets back to normal
