Currently on holiday- but each morning I am experiencing something I’ve never had before - intense pain in my left eye accompanied by floods of tears. Less so in the right eye but still concerning. Particularly concerned re loss of sight as GCA is life long I’ve been told.
Really worried.
As usual- would so appreciate your advice, experiences and support.

I posted recently about there being a small risk of developing acute angle glaucoma when you are on bisphosphonates and that presents with severe eye pain. There is a high risk to your sight so I would try to find an optician who can check pressures for you or go to A&E. That's why I asked where you are on holiday to make the most appropriate suggestion.
Sounds more like an infection or maybe a foreign object in eye -can you attend a local hospital or pharmacy for starters -or an opticians?
An eye issue in GCA isn’t usually painful.
