Hi, my husband has had constant ongoing belching problems. He’s had an endoscopy and a ct scan with no visible problems showing up. The belching is bought on by exertion and is getting worse. Eating seems to help. We are at our wits end trying to find a solution as it’s definitely getting worse.
Any one out there experienced this?

Did you mean to post here? This is a specialist forum for two rheumatological disorders - PMR and GCA so not sure there will be much experience here.
However - by exercise do you mean strenuous or just walking around? A lot of belching is due to swallowing air, often while eating, but exercise can also result in swallowing air and making the belching worse.
Things that may cause excessive belching could be acid reflux, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), gastritis, or Helicobacter pylori infection. Does your husband have any other symptoms such as pain somewhere? As PMRpro says this is not the correct forum for you.
As Piglette notes , belching because of activity is a very common symptom of acid reflux or GERD , even if you have no other symptoms of these.A way to test this , as long as you hubby can take antacids is to try and antacid and a generous drink of water before physical exercise. If the belching reduces , it's likely that he is getting wind or acid from the gastric system causing the problem.
Another set of simple causes is often weight change , change in posture and taking in air via the mouth instead of the nose while breathing more rapidly.
Breathing through the mouth or a less upright posture or leaning your head down towards your chest restricts air movement and causes you to breath in to rapidly through the mouth because the lungs do not fill as well.
Breathing through the mouth increases the amount of air that goes down the oesophagus instead of towards airways and fills the stomach.
When the stomach fills with air it must be excreted because it isn't needed , the easiest way for your body to do this is to stimulate burping once you are still.
If you eat , it will also reduce the belching because your mouth is chewing and you usually breath less through the mouth as you eat.
Food filling the stomach also forces any remaining air out , often in to the intestines as well as up the oesophagus ( but in a less forceful way ). With the stomach filled with food it means the air causing the belching has gone.
If your husband thinks about it he may find he has a little bloating after exercise and then eating or maybe passes more wind from the lower end.
The solution to try is to have a small exercise friendly snack 30 minutes before activity, drink water before and during exercise, to train himself to breath in through the nose and out of the mouth and to correct the posture of his head and neck to make sure his head is relaxed and upright , and neck lengthened to ensure his airways are fully open and any breath he takes can be deeper , more regular , moving into the lungs rather than into the stomach.
I know this isn't the right forum, but still do let us know how he gets on , take care , Bee
Sorry Rose,a bit bleary eyed this morning just reread your post and saw that endoscopy was done,my mistake.,That’s how they found OHs Barrett’s.Hope he finds some answers soon, good luck to you both!xx💐😜
This is a bit of a wild card, but I wonder whether your husband is taking any medicine for anything else, as that may be causing his problems, as unhappily a lot of medicine has unfortunate side effects.
