I take accrete D3 twice daily and have been taking one Vitamin K2 (90 ug) per day. Just wondering if this is enough? It says to take 1-2 a day on the box.

K2 dosage
It seems unclear but the few references we have been able to find suggest 180-200mcg a day.
Ah right, maybe I should be taking 2 then. Not sure how much I’m getting from food though so it’s a hard one to decide.
Probably not a lot unless you eat kimchi or natto which is unusual in the west.
No I don’t eat that so I’ll take 2 - 90 ug. There doesn’t seem to be any side effects if you do have too much K2 from what I can see.
Not sure that’s guaranteed - and it probably depends on how much is too much… 😏
Melio guide says “Vitamin K2 MK7 dosage recommendation is 150 to 180 µg per day. This is based on the dosage used in most recent research studies.”
I take roughly 120-140 a day but also have kefir which contains some and your body will convert some vitamin K in leafy greens for example to K2 although how much is anyone’s guess.
Thought this was an interesting recent, mainstream, article from Dublin university

This is really interesting. Thank you for raising it.My Vitamin K2 supplement (from Healthspan) is 75µg and recommended dose is 1 per day but perhaps I should be taking 2 alongside my Adcal-D3. Though it does say "do not exceed the recommended dose". 🙂
Mine is 100mcg - and says the same!
Please can I ask - do you take 1 or 2 a day? 🙂
I just take one - always have. And the comment re not exceeding recommended dose is on everything nowadays - but that doesn’t make it any easier if there no accurate figure for what is daily dose, does it? 🤦🏻♀️
Thank You, perhaps I'll stick at just one too then. 🙂I'm a bit freaked out at having the Dexa scan showing Osteoporosis at the start of the steroid journey but keep thinking actually I'm very fortunate the osteoporosis has been discovered. If I hadn't had Polymyalgia Rheumatica I would not have had a DEXA scan at age 56.
So with the Adcal-D3, Vitamin K2 and the weekly Alendronic Acid (as well as lots of spinach, sardines, yoghurt etc - all of which I love eating) I feel I am helping. 🙂
