I had a flu shot a month ago and I am on 5mg of prednisone for PMR. My arm has been hurting since then. Has anyone else had this problem.

Doesn't sound as if it's anything to do with PMR.. perhaps a too vigorous injection - or not quite in the right place and has caused damage to a muscle..
As it's gone on so long, probably best to get it checked by GP... do painkillers or hot/cold therapy help?
I haven't had the same, but a shingles vaccine 12 days ago has still left a nasty intense little bruise. Obviously we bruise more easily with pred, but I'm just hoping that when I go back for my second dose, that particular 'injector' is on her holidays!
But it can't do any harm to get it checked.🙂

I doubt it was the pred - more likely to be the poor technique of the person givng the vaccination.
Yes there is a lot of information about wrong injections - search SIRVA - shoulder injury resulting from vaccine. My arm hurt for almost a year. Good luck.
