Hi All

Just had my annual flu vaccination! 👏🏽💜

No negative effects, not even sore shoulder.

Pharmacist did say that my 7 mg pred dose may reduce vaccine effectiveness a bit, but still preferable to remaining un-vaccinated .

I've had influenza in years past, and was severely ill!

I'll take the vaccine, for any help it provides in avoiding the nightmare of true influenza!

Had mine yesterday - no problems. But I’m not on Pred any more.

My doctor advised me to get a flu jab. Currently on 10mgs. X

I just got a reminder in yesterday to make appointment for my first ever flu jab. Must remember to do it.

Interesting that comment having it when on 7mg Pred. I am on 7 as well, but nothing mentioned at the time. Wonder why it would reduce the vaccine effectiveness?

Oh heck! Must go to bed. I was thinking of the shingles, not the flu, when I replied!! Am only having flu jab in November.Still, I do wonder about the 7mg and effectiveness.

I just had mine two days ago. No problems!!! I made sure it was my nearly stop not dead slow day with the prednisone ... no problems. on 7 1/2 / 7
