After double up pred. Forgot taper guidance

Soda law again .OH been in hospital twice in one week .stroke and then viral infection high temp .trying to deal with it whilst I got covod.i forgot whether I can just go back to normal dose of 8mg predniselone when I feeling better. Be grateful for any replies .so stressed out .

So long as you’ve haven’t been on increased dose for longer than 14 days -you can drop back down to previous dose.

Whether you do in one drop -or step down halfway between the 2 doses with about a week at interim dose is up to you and how you feel. .

Oh thank you DL for such a quick reply .done a lot of crying as healready got multiple other issues including lung cancer .but trying my best to be strong .

Been there too - hugs. But make sure that the dose you are on is enough for YOU to cope too. I had to go much higher because the flare was persistent and having to do all the physical and mental stuff as well was awful.
