I usually take my pred when I realise I have missed my dose and then carry on as usual after that.

When did you miss the pill? Is that 2 days you didn't take it?

Just 24 hrs.

I would take a missed dose when I realised but if the 24 hours are up or almost up - don't double it, just go back to normal.

For pred it is easy for me, it is a before bed medication together with other stuff, but the doses that I need at other times I have alarms set on my phone and the day's tablets are set out in a 24 hour 4 compartment dosette box. I keep mine next to my phone in my handbag (outside the flat) or on the dining table all the time - the handbag link makes it a bit easier when routine changes.

As 24hrs have passed-just go back to normal dose…and try not to do it again!

I suppose the good thing is that I had no immediate reaction. Once before (when I forgot) around 16.00 I was in a terrible state until I realised and remedied.

Well yes that is good in that it shows things are normally well controlled at current dose…
