Today, another CT Scan to Rule Out Blood Clot on Lung

CRP up to 42 last night (May 8) after being 3 on April 28th. This is the CRP where my PMR began for goodness sakes. Obviously there's an infection there somewhere and I think antibiotics in order at this point. Found this out when ER doc did extra blood work. Also did a blood test for clots. This is not to say I have a clot on my lung, but we are ruling out with another CT Scan today. As he says, the test is either negative or possibly positive. Better to find out. Not buying into it as no shortness of breath. Was there from 8 AM to 9 PM yesterday. Took an ambulance in as I didn't think I could walk down the stairs. Ending up walking down the stairs with one in front, one in back and then when we got there, because my RHR was 118 (which they say in my history is normal for me), they stuck me in the regular waiting room. At least answers seem to be coming in. Will keep you posted. I need to reach out to Rheumy because I'm at 30 mg Pred and they may want to up it. Last night advocated for myself and took 40 just in case. It's easier to taper from 40 than 60. Had very bad headache yesteday and pains in head. Also up back of neck. What thingest thou on my previous tests for GCA? Also the diverticulosis could be infected. Hope they get to the bottom of this today.
