Now in the 5th week of flu, but that seems to be subsiding. Had bloods taken end of November and CRP was up to 24 from being "normal" for months. Had upped the Pred to 18 and now at 14.5. As of 3 days ago, CRP down to 3. So Pred did it's job I guess. Thighs still painful and buttocks when bending. Upper left arm and neck acting up. Still extremely fatigued. Could fall asleep at the drop of a dime and trying to work (eye roll). Will drop the Pred a bit when this eases up. All in all, doing ok. PMRPro had asked me to keep you updated. Thanks for your concerns and help.

No rush to reduce Pred - make sure you are much better before you attempt.
As both PMRpro and I have said recently in other posts - some Rheumies advise no reducing during winter. Good reason for that -cold weather puts a lot of stress on all bodies.
