Just thought I would let you all know I have had my appointment for sixth vaccine on Sunday, 4th September. Was going to start a slow drop to 9.5 mg Pred next week, I think I will wait until after jab now.

how did you get to all these jabs?

Was on 15 mg Pred on third vaccine due to a flare and have not been able to reduce below 10 since so qualified for extra vaccines.

I’ve had four jabs, my spring booster was given at the end of June. Does anyone know how long the gap should be before we have the next one?

Three months from previous vaccine.

Minimum of 3 months - but leaving it closer to 6 months is better.

Some of us qualified for a third primary vaccination due to particular health conditions. In my case an immune deficiency (low IgG). So, three primary plus two boosters = 5 so far and the autumn programme will give us a sixth.

There’s some concern over immune imprinting, but scientists can’t agree, ie will too much of the original developed in response to the ancestral strain have an affect on the ability to respond well to the bivalent? Personally I’ll take whatever’s going.

I'm 74 and thought I would get a 4th jab after all the 75 year olds were done. Still waiting and people I know over 75 are now getting 5th jabs soon.
