2nd booster, fourth shot, all is well

Was a bit nervous getting booster shot ( worried about reactions). Received my fourth shot Friday, bit of sore arm, and flushed face in evening were only after affects. I am currently on Actemra, 9 mg prednisone, and 20mg methotrexate. I stopped the methotrexate prior week and again this week, in hoping to improve efficacy of booster. Always grateful for post and information found here. 🙏

I too received my 2nd COVID booster last week , was a little apprehensive that it may start a flare but all is fine. I only had a sore arm for a couple of days. I now feel more protected. X

Hello, i just had all 4 vaccines without stopping anything and had antibody test after 2nd which was positive so vaccines worked. However, had a vad cold a few months later, not covid which needed penicillin to clear so now slowly reducing mycophenelate to alternate days. I was told mycophenelate works a month or more later so stopping before vaccine prob would not help. All the best.
