I was diagnosed with Vit d deficiency prior to my PMR diagnosis

Yes, me too. It was one of the tests run during diagnosis and my vit D was very low.

Me too. I have had it on prescription for 6 years now.

On the other hand, I was diagnosed with severe vitamin D deficiency and osteomalacia in around 2005, so I had been taking vitamin D supplements for about fifteen years prior to PMR diagnosis in 2021🤔 I don’t take fish oils, but I do eat oily fish about three times a week. So where does that get me? 🤷‍♀️

Honestly I feel I do what I can to stay healthy, I eat well and take magnesium, zinc and vitamins B, C and D….but a lot of the outcome is just written in the stars….x

I was, and always did, taking Vitamin D during the winter months when I was diagnosed. My PMR symptoms started just after my second covid (Pfizer) jab.

Thanks for the article. I am having trouble deciphering the article. Is the fish oil prescription strength or is it over the counter?

OTC. 2,000 IU. Carlson's Norwegian is a very good one as you want to avoid contamination. I get it on line. Amazon has it. Good luck, Jane

There are a lot of articles and studies - rarely definitive - and here is yet another one about the possible downside of fish oil versus the possible upside. Jane424, I got it from the same website that your link is from. peoplespharmacy.com/article...
