Extreme lower extremities swelling

I was tapering to fast and returned to my previous painful symptoms. Since July 11 back to 15mls. from 12mls. prednisolone. I have extreme swelling of my feet, ankles and legs. I had no swelling at reduced dose. I am having trouble and pain just walking. In addition I have gained some weight because I haven't been adhering to my low carb diet. I have read in the past many posts concerning these concerns. I would appreciate any suggestions as I can't find those past links.

There is lots of good information on FAQ ~! I have lots of swelling and wear compression hose....raising my legs above my heart helps most and not sitting for extended periods. I've been on Pred for 2 years, now 20 mg per day, but feel it is poor circulation. Good luck💖

There appear to be posts relating to swelling under Related Posts - to the right on a computer screen, not sure where on a phone. Some of the weight gain will be related to the fluid retention - water weighs!!!

Cutting processed carbs is important - carbs alone enourage fluid retention but the salt in processed foods and restaurant meals used to do it for me.

But if that’s all you want it for, there’s nothing wrong with a Nokia, I loved mine back in the day😉

Not so fast - my UK phone is a Nokia, 3310 and an original one, not a retro.Still has the original number from Vodafone. And it has the original battery too!

Good for you!!! Isn't that what a phone is for?? Sure would keep the cost down if they didn't do so many functions. LOL

You can always choose a plain phone - I had to replace my Italian phone, cost me about 40 euros I think. Hate it - it has soft covers on the buttons and they are a nightmare to get to answer the phone!!!!

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 (I believe they are up to Note 11 now???) Started with the 3 and finally had issues and went to the 4 then service provider stopped supporting 3G so found a brand new Note 5 online. LOVE it. Straight forward easy to use.
