I have posted this link as it may be helpful for others if necessary.
I think it’s important we are aware of this .
Fingers crossed it doesn’t happen to anyone.
Hope it’s okay to share this link , but I feel it’s very important.
I also feel it proves my instinct was correct.
I increased my sick days dose to 10mg and it should have been 20mg , split up into 2 doses .
I was coping until the Tuesday when the nausea and vomiting started, plus some other horrible symptoms.
I’ve wondered many times , why I was heading into ITU , until I was put on IV Dexamethasone. I wasn’t scared either, happy to not feel sick .
I improved dramatically within hours , even with pneumonia .
One of the staff told the doctors I’d gone from a level 8 to 3 . The main concern was my heart rate . It stabilised and slowed down.
I think I’d have recovered at home with antibiotics if I’d increased my Prednisilone dose , and it was my adrenal glands and the other complex hormones that were making me so ill.
No more Covid talk , but the info is here .
