Morning! You must be psychic! I was only wondering about trying CBD last night. It is an anti inflammatory, so in theory, it could help. I will be interested in what others have to say about this. I’m not sure if it prescribed here in the U.K. for PMR/GCA sufferers.

If you look to the right or bottom of the page there is a list of related posts where it has been discussed in the past. In all my years on the forums I can't remember anyone saying cannabis improved their PMR symptoms at all but smoking it has helped some people with what I call the add-ons, such as insomnia.
this company in Israel is starting trials using their product as a steroid sparing drug.
However - they are assuming that all the claimed adverse effects are due to the pred and that isn't necessarily true as many of them are found at similar levels in an age-matched population without PMR and not on pred.

What I have gathered in the past is that the main difference was to their bank balance! There is a wide range of products all with different doses - it could be a long trawl finding something that works, always assuming there is one!
Not prescribed it, but I but I've been buying it online from Holland and Barrett for a few months - I don't have pain, luckily (except for a hip niggle) but I do find it's a mild sleep aid. And of course it's cannabidoil, not cannabis as such - so therefore one's not breaking any laws...
