First let me say my laptop is in the shape...I’m not too fast on the Ipad!
The rheumatologist told me today that he wants me to stay on Actemra for another month before tapering. AND....he is going to switch me from prednisolone (Been on —solone for 15 months) to prednisone per day for this coming month and then begin to cut the dosage. The reason for the switch is because Medrol does not come in 1 or 2 mg tabs for cutting.
He is also referring me to a retina specialist to get a baseline on my right eye.
And I have an appointment for my first vaccination which I’m pretty excited about, February 8. So all in all....not a bad day.

Good news about your vaccination! My old man has his first vac tomorrow morning at 8.30, in a town 10 miles away and i am the chauffeur. This will be a challenge as he is not a morning person. Usually it is a hideous journey at that time in the morning but I think the roads will be quiet, with lockdown, and no frost or snow forecast. I have become a real wimp about driving since the lockdown as I never go anywhere! And I'll have to get up at dawn to dose myself with pred.......
