NHS staff are really the best in the world and True Hero's

I had rant about my treatment yesterday. What was I really complaining about though? It's the system not the staff. Without the dedication and commitment the NHS staff and volunteers put in with no questions asked to save the sufferers of this horrendous pandemic many of us would not be here today.

Emergency services, Oncology, Cardio, and all other critical departmental staff provide excellent care too when you make that call or get a diagnosis.

It's not the people it's the system. I think we sometimes expect too much because we did have a lot more access to minor and major surgeries that improved our quality of life. The NHS are doing their best with the funding and tools they have. For the first part of this pandemic they had hardly any PPE!

We can blame drug and substance abuse, health tourists, Google hyperchondriacs, cuts to funding and no beds but it doesn't change anything once you decide who is to blame.

I can't imagine where I would be without steroids for my PMR or a new hip. It might take time to get there but eventually as depressing as it gets we do arrive. We now live longer as well creating more need for medical support. I would not change our NHS for the third world care system or what the USA has.

This probably won't stop me moaning. I moan therefore I am!!

Thanks to all health workers, volunteers and key workers who have kept us safe.

Ps. Still calling Urology that was pre COVID and 3 years in the system.
